A post raised by shardik re the Metal Four Poster Bed seems to be atracting numerous comments, so shardik & Miss P, I hope you find acceptable that I've started a new thread under the above heading, perhaps one of the forum members is able to copy the original thread to this new heading.

A quick update regarding the four poster bed:- We have raised the mattress so that it sits higher than the mattress frame and intend to pad the frame around the mattress. This, of course, means that the bed is indeed higher, so we have provided the stool as requested.

It proves that this forum is going to be useful as no one (not one single person) has mentioned that this was a problem before now.

(Yes the cage below is an integral part of the bed frame - so voting whether or not it should stay is irrelevant).

I guess no one mentioned it because no one wants to be ungrateful as it was an irritation not a show stopper and there are so many positives it is soon forgotten. Looking forward to coming along soon and trying it out along with the new playroom.
